Mark Maresca is a widely-acclaimed architect and designer based in Charleston, SC. Quite simply, he has never not been a designer: at the age of twelve, Mark began sketching houses in Charleston’s historic South of Broad neighborhood. He went on to receive classical training in architecture, later founding Maresca & Associates, Architects in 1992. Since then, Mark has earned a reputation for client-driven design with keen attention to line and proportion, complemented by rich materials that age and endure. His worked has been featured in World of Interiors, O Magazine, and Elle Décor, among others. From imagination to execution, Mark offers a comprehensive view of exterior and interior design, ensuring that all elements of a project coalesce and complement one another. His work with lighting and furniture began in the early years of his career and continues today with Urban Electric Co. Mark and his wife, also an architect, have two daughters—one a classical painter and one a textile designer.
